Made some progress on the new mill this week. Pro Line Racing Engines got the short block mocked up. Checked all the clearances, measured for push rod length. They are now sending the heads, cam and all the valvetrain parts back to 3vPerformance to start the spin testing. The valves also came back from the coater this week. Tom sent me a couple of pictures to drool over. Titanium intake and exhaust, 2.35" intake and 1.85" exhaust. Below is a link to the build for those interested:

You must be pretty high on the list.............I never got pics of my valves...:(

Wilson and I had a conversation couple weeks back about what we think this thing will make. I have a feeling, it will be raising the bar!!!

I have no doubt that it will raise the bar.

I don't know about raising the bar here guys. I think the intake manifold *may* be the weak link the package. That's no faults of Hogan's, rather it is a result of the limitations I have placed on him by insisting to run the stock SS hood. The intake is front entry (mono-blade), and I'm not sure if there are limitations on upper RPM/air flow with that design. Honestly, I would be happy with anything over 800hp. The bottom line is none of the dyno numbers mean a lot if you can't run the number at the track. My car is really (although pretty wild) intended to be a true street/strip car. By definition the engine will never perform it's optimal in my ride. That said, I plan to get a roll cage back in the car and see what it will do

I like where your head is at with this. I was gonna ask....which side of the engine is expected to make the earlier quoted 600hp, and how much will the other side make?

4 digit horsepower wouldnt be surprising at all.
