Does the 6 qt oil pan clear when installed in a 1970 chevelle SS? And any other things that I might run into installing a ZZ502 in a 70 chevelle? Thank you!

Welcome to Team Chevelle! Unfortunately i dont have the data you seek re the 502's oil pan fitment into a A body, other than the 502 having no provision for a mechanical fuel pump.

I'd ask if it comes with a truck type pan or if you have choices of pans Edit that's if you didn't already buy the engine

ZZ502's have always been know for coming with an oil pan that doesn't fit into cars. So yes you will need a different pan.

oil pan. i got a milidon 6qrt, not perfect but it works.
