Sure alot of non calls by the refs where holding is called (not) by the Packers. I've seen it about 7 times now.
Not too bright to make an advance public notice you are going after the QB then do it out of bounds. We have a lot of Packer fans in this area. They have all had their panties in a bunch because of the penalty that should have issued 4th down instead of 3rd after that melee that broke out after the out of bounds late hit that Clay Mathews pulled causing the 9ers to retaliate, which they blame the refs over that miscalculation, and some have even blamed the 9ers as well. Yet none of them are pointing their finger at their own player that launched the train wreck in the first place.
That call could have gone either way,Matthews starts his leap while Kapernick is still inbounds. If Matthews doesn,t go after him he would have gotten the first down,he was within a yard and a half.Kapernick saw him coming and went out of bounds instead. Not too bright to make an advance public notice you are going after the QB then do it out of bounds.![]()
Yes, but now that everyones gunning for him expecting him to Run, showing his passing game is a VERY smart move IMO....really throws a wrench in the game plan for other teams....they dont know what to expectKaepernicks abilities were clear last year. I don't think he needed to prove himself to anybody. Packers dfense again let them down. When they took the lead, they immediately gave it away again.
Boldin made a big difference. He has always been the reciever you hated to see on the other team as he can battle anybody and come down with the ball, then drag a defender with him for 10 more yards!!!
Seattle next week.
Oh yeah, Kaepernick saw Matthews coming and ran out-of-bounds before Clay could get to him. That call could have gone either way,Matthews starts his leap while Kapernick is still inbounds. If Matthews doesn,t go after him he would have gotten the first down,he was within a yard and a half.Kapernick saw him coming and went out of bounds instead.
Monday, however, the league's vice president of officiating, Dean Blandino, said Staley, who threw no punches, should not have been penalized. If Matthews' penalty had been the only one, the 49ers would have had first and goal at the Green Bay 3-yard line.
