I know I have a mark IV 454 but was wondering if I could get a date it was a replacement crate motor casting # 14015445 Hi perf. Pistons are GM 39634550 thank you.

14015445...454.......78-90...2 or 4 bolt

Pretty vague date wise, but you may find a little more info on their site

Hey Mike,as stated above its from 78-90,any Mark IV parts from 67-91 should fit.If you are having trouble with parts guys because its not the engine that came in your car just use pick up trucks from the 80-90's as reference's.

I sent an email to Ed Staeffel,author of How To Build Max Performance Chevy Rat Motors,but he doesent have any listings for these particular pistons.

I was able to measure the rings(5/64) and ordered stock bore rings and also bearings from Mike lewis racing engines landed here cheaper than my local parts store thanks for the help Guy. I'll keep you posted on progress.
