I have a set of 353049 heads 049's

I see two different spec's on these across the web

122 and 113 cc chambers

Can anyone help out without me breaking these down and cc'ing them?

As far as I know, and I have CCed a bunch of them, they are 110 CC from the factory. From the factory I have seen them vary in CC from 108- 114 CC. I have never seen a 122 CC chamber 049 from the factory.
Yours must have all been milled about 060;) ;) I have two sets in the garage now, and another set a few years ago that I used, and all were 118cc. Mortec lists them as 122, but I have never seen any that big. I also have two sets of 781's (same head basically) and they are also 118cc. As Paul said, measure them to be sure, you dont know what work may have been done to them.

I read!! I read!!

Where the really early closed chamber heads start at 96.+ and go to about 98. (-206's).. (and I have a set!)...

Semi-closed chambered to 99 to 101 or so.. (-215's)..

Open from 112/113 all the way up to 122!!

And there are two kinds of open here, the regular large ovals like -781's and -049's and SMOG type that have the exhaust quench squared off with the intake valves so they almost don't have any quench!!

And to top it off the smogger's are usually down at the 112/113 cc or so range SO you can't look at BB heads and tell b/c they look HUGE!!! (-950's)..

The Vortec, L-29 heart shaped chamber head is 100 cc's, but only has like 230 or so cc intake ports even tho GM call's it a large oval..

Peanut port heads are only about 198 to just above 200 cc's intake port size but may run bigger... (-236's)...

AND there are truck large oval heads that have 1.84" and 1.94" intake valves and 1.66" exhaust valves that only reqiure reaming out so that the bigger standard size valves can be fitted!!

What Dennis said

049/781's are all over the map as all BB heads may be.
I have seen anything from 113 to 120+ in stock untouched heads so don't bet the farm on what you read ;)
