it's funny that you're doing this right now. There was a guy on here last week inquiring about a engine builder to do a 427 for his car.. A few of us mentioned your name.What do you guys think a 9.7 compression 427 with a 350 HP 396 cam 390 HP 427 cam 214/218/460/480 factory cast iron intake (427) and Q-Jet will make for power, and where it would peak, I know the cam is not well liked. Interested in all opinions.
You assumed rightI'm curious about that cam.... does anyone know the duration at 0.006"? Also curious about the wide 115 LSA, as I would think a relatively low compression engine (9.7:1) would prefer tighter centers. Assume this is for a resto-type deal?
