Hi there, first off, I hope this is int he correct forum, if not please excuse me.

I just recently purchased a '70 Chevelle that originally had the 396 in it, but now houses a 427 from a '69 Vette. I'd like to replace the side badges from 396 to (obviously) 427 badges. The problem is, I'm unaware of any that would fit since the only OEM ones are 396 and 454. I was thinking the newer GM 427 badges (from what I believe is a 2008 '427' Edition Vette) would look killer if they would fit, or with relatively simple modification would. If not and any of you know of ones that would, please let me know! Thanks so much in advance =]

Heres the ones I'm hoping would fit :

Thanks! But, where might I find something like these/what do they look like? and how do you place them on the chevelle? Are they stick on adhesive? If so I was looking for something a bit more permanent and I definitely dont want to look like I got these from the dollar store lol

You'd just have to insure whatever emblem or individual numbers you choose would cover your current emblem holes. Double sided tape would be the easiest solution for mounting though. Trim Parts has 'em, maybe others too, for $17 per number. Trim part's website is a bear to find anything that isn't make/model/year specific but I did find the number "4" here http://www.trimparts.com/parts/index/b2Zmc2V0PTE=/ by doing a search on their site of "number 4."

Ahh thank you all for your help! 70cko4sp, I'm assuming those mounting holes for the impala would be the same size/space apart on the chevelle right? GM is usually really good at keeping dimensions the same so parts swapping is do-able.
