The bulbs on the outside of the 4 bulb system have two 12 V hots, green and tan wires. Green is high beams. Do the outboard lights have a high beam and a low beam, so when beams are on, do all 4 lights hit hi beam or do the outboard bulbs have a dimmer light coming out when beams are on?

My lights are wired tan and green wires tied together.

The way GM built the car, the outer-most bulbs were dual filament; one low beam, one high. The 'inner' bulbs were signal filament (high beam only). Switch on high beams? All four bulbs illuminate (outer bulbs on 'high'). Low beams? "Outer two bulbs only (on 'low').
