Hey fellas I have an issuse. I am about to buy a 388 short block for a steel of a deal. Everything in the block is cast with flat top pistons . What I want to know is. What top end parts can I get to made it a streetible (pump gas) motor?

With that combo, and flat top pistons, I'd seriously consider using heads with 76cc chambers. That will most likely put the cr in the very hi 9s at best and low 10s at worst. GENERALLY speaking, the more alum on the top of the engine, the higher cr the engine will tolerate.
For a daily street/performance/driver, I personally perfer iron heads. Over the long haul, corrosion problems become more of an issue with alum heads.
