Recently purchased a 4bolt 350 with .030 over pistons and rings. Tore the old pistons out to find she was already a 355. Sold pistons and rings to re-coup money for the block. Can I go .010 over and make it a 357 or could this potentially cause block problems. I'm looking to build about 425hp at the crank and it will be daily driven in the summer months. Also does anyone know of a reasonably priced, good machine shop in Minnesota? I'm north of the Twin Cities.:sad::(:(

.040 is a common over bore. You should also be able to go .060 over with no problems.
