I was redoing the wiring in my car and I was trying to figure out how to wire up the back of the fuel guage. there are three connectors. I figured one was ground another was the fuel sender but what could the last one be? Thanks for any help!

Probably for lighting to the gauge.

The other is a power wire for the gauge. A fuel gauge is just like all other electrical gauges, needs a sender, a power, and a ground.

Whats the wiring of the guage? Power, Sender, then Ground? It would be the most logical in my mind.

Try my drawings. It's for a 69 Camaro. Most GM gauges late 60's through early 80's were the same.

Yea, didn't load for me either. Ok, if it has three connectors in a triangle pattern. the center is the ground, the one towards the headlight switch (when looking AT dash), the left side is the power (on a 71 it was a pink wire, i believe it's the same) and the other terminal is the sender, it is tan on every year i believe! Good Luck!
