I could not on my 67. Have Corvette Rally wheels, with 4.5 backspace, and it rubs a little bit. I do have a later year differential so I loose half an inch on each side (kind of like 4" backspacing).

Chevelles typically like 0 offset. That being said a 8" wheel with 4.5" backspace should work.

Will someone please tell me if I can use a 15x8 with 2.5in backspace cragar wheel without rubbing on my stock 67 chevelle
A 2.5' BackSpace will not work on a 67 that has the Stock Width RearEnd
the Tire Side Wall will Rub on the OUTside / Inner Fender Well
As has been said above a 8" Wide Wheel with a 4.5 BackSpace is ideal

For best results measure YOUR car and see what room is available. Measure both sides and run some numbers.
