Thanks for the info about the seats. I live on the west side of Brissie. I took my old Mercury Comet down to that show, and yeah I got soaked too!

Keen to see how you like the turbos. They have a pretty small housing and should spool up in the blink of an eye! Do you know what cfm or power level they run out of breath?

They are small turbos, and I plan to replace them later but for now I just want it all running as a twin turbo setup. Not too fussed if it doesn't make huge power this time around, however should still be reasonable.

I must say that I've been looking at the S480 turbos and wondering if I should ditch the blower...

I hope to have mine registered in the next couple of weeks, we should catch up and go for a cruise some time soon. Keen to see how the 71 looks now - and your brother's car too!

I'm using this as a trial fit exercise... had to modify lots of things, not worried about engine or HP at the moment just want it all running then I will get bigger turbos and more HP however I do expect to still have a significant gain in power, even from these little turbos.

I will, things are moving slowly here having trouble finding room to put everything, funny isn't it. You look at your engine bay and think there is soo much room there.... until you start trying to fit things that don't bend...

I am in Australia and here Holden (GM local) made a car in the 70's which is very similar to the chevelle. There are aftermarket springs and shocks available for that which i used however I have seen lowered springs on ebay in the US which I would have bought if it were not for freight costs.

Nothing rubbing however close to inner guards on front, ran fine but with my turbo setup I have now removed them.

yes. I tossed a few in the widow maker thread. I do have a build thread you can search for, but I have yet to update it in a while. Where I work, I cannot view pictures, so that makes it hard to upload and what not on a regular basis. So I just dump a bunch at once. I am waiting on my intake manifold before I do another image dump. the size of my turbos is likely to make one's pants swell.
