I have a 1970 chevelle wagon, I am trying to put on the rear door panels but they are about 1.5" short at the rear near the top, also the curve at the cat wisker is not the same. the window crank holes dont line up either. the panels match the front ones in looks and they fit perfect. I was wondering if a 4 door could possibly be this little of a difference? thanks for any input Gary

Four door panels will fit. I had them on my 70 Wgn. YES they are short and have a different contour that Sta. Wgn. door panels. I now have station Wgn. panels on my 70 Wagon and all is well. Bob

There are a few ways to fit the rear door panels in a 1970 wagon:
  • first, make sure that the panel is the right size. If it's too big or too small, it won't fit properly.
  • Second, check to see if the panel is warped. Sometimes, panels can become slightly warped over time, which can make them difficult to fit. If the panel is warped, try gently pushing it back into shape before attempti ng to install it.
  • Third, make sure that all of the screws and other fasteners are tightened correctly. If any of the screws are loose, it can throw off the entire alignment of the panel and make it impossible to install correctly.
