A dealer I know has a 70 real ss with build sheet. It is n.o.m with original 4 spd, pristine floors and trunk and no visible rust on body. You can see evidence of some bondo but it is very straight. It has a poor quality repaint that is not the original color and the interior is in need of complete replacement. It has a custom roll and tuck with shag carpet. The b uckets are 73,74 style swivel and would have to be replaced. It has the factory vinyl roof that is in very good condition. The doors close nicely and all the glass is good. No power steering. It also has a factory cowl induction hood. The wheels are not original either. This car is basicly in need of a total resto. but without rust issues. He's asking 21.5k

I'd tell him to keep it. No original motor, in that kind of shape.... youre going to hae a real time coming out ahead building that with a starting price of 21k..
