I am fired up tonight. Started L-89 motor tonight. Everything seems to work.All gauges/tack/clock /lights in dash work.I went through all the gears and it shifts great.I acually could even drive this car now. The exhaust from Gardner is not as loud as I would like but I am used to My 71 with headers and flowmaster 40's. The carb is a little rich so I will have to change jets in front since it was dynoed with open headers. The exhaust is pretty restrictive.
Here are a few more pictures of how I set up core support to get car running. Worked great with the angle iron for support. Interior and windows next. Brian

It does feel great or more like shock that it is running. I am telling you since this is My first frame off resto it teaches You patience. I just want to thank all the peaple who post stuff on this sight as it has been a wealth of knowledge.I may not post alot but I sure look at this site everyday twice if not more to get new ideas on things for chevelles. Brian

I'm with you on that. I check also a couple of times a day to read what everyone has to say. Someone is almost always doing something that I'm about to start. This is also my first frame off also. Keep us posted on your progress, helps to keep most of us motivated to keep going.
