I’ve been looking at my build sheet for my 70 Malibu, and I noticed I have a rpo code for door edge guards. I’m debating buying a set for originality factor. Does anyone have these on their 70-72? Any pics? Thank you

You car probably wont rust under them unless you drive the car every day in the winter. But once they go on they need to stay on because they will hurt your paint just putting them on.

Wow that paint looks amazing being over 30 years old. The rear tinted windows look good. I don’t see that a lot of muscle cars. I though about tinting my whole car but I have the full green factory tinted windows and don’t know if it will work

I have door edge guards on my 70 SS396 and I like them. They were on the car when I bought it in 1988, but I put on NOS ones when I had car repainted because originals were dinged up. I can't remember if they were optional or standard on SS.
