1970 Desert Sand

Looking for the paint color name for Desert Sand in 1970. There were Chevelle sales names such as Cranberry Red, Forest Green, Fathom Blue, etc. but paint names shown on Atlanta buildsheets were simply RED, DARK GREEN, DARK BLUE, etc. Of all the colors, Desert Sand (code 63) is the only one I don't have a common name for.

Anyone with a 70 Atlanta buildsheet that could look in the last column of block 107 and get me the name it'd be appreciated (only Atlanta listed colors this way).

Secondary, if anyone has any plant's window sticker with Desert Sand coded paint, the 3-digit number for Desert Sand (in the RPO code column) would also be appreciated. These should be shown on any plant's window sticker.

Appreciate the help!

Have you seen the LS5 70 desert sand with white stripe and top on ebay Dale. Its a nice looking car. It has the build sheet but its a Kansas City car. I looked at the Atlanta build sheets pics I have collected and all I found 58 dark gold and 55 med gold so my guess would be Atlanta listed it as 63 light gold. And I bet from looking at window stickers they listed it as desert sand. I'll stay on the look out and if I find anything I'll send it your way.
Haven't seen the LS5 Desert Sand car, have to look for it. Desert Sand is the only color I don't have an Atlanta buildsheet for but LIGHT GOLD sounds logical. I'll keep looking as well but if you or anyone else finds anything (and remembers me), I'd appreciate the info.

Also missing a could of 9xx paint numbers for 1970 for Misty Turquoise and Champagne Gold and a ton of 9xx paint numbers for 1971 and 1972. See http://chevellestuff.net/research/want_paint.htm for more.
Not really, it lists the sales name such as Desert Sand and not something like Light Gold and I didn't see any 9xx numbers for any color there either but thanks for the link.

Just looked at the car. It's in my LS5 Registry as of June of last year. I guess the owner has decided to sell...
Dale, I think Al Galdi had a Misty Turquoise 70 perhaps he can help.
Think he might have some Atlanta buildsheets?
