I'm replacing the dash harness in a 1970 SS non A/C car and have 3 connectors that I'm questioning where they go. I believe I have identified 2 of them but the 3rd has me stumped. I've looked all over for a schematic and would gladly pay for one that's downloadable. I don't need the entire Fisher body manual for a bunch of different models that is hard to find the information in :(.
Connector #1 is 2 terminals, straight across, Pink and Green wires. I believe it goes to the Back/up lights.
Connector # 2 is 3 terminals, T shaped, with Black Yellow and Grey wires, I believe this is for the factory radio.
Now the stumper # 3:
Another 3 terminal, T shaped,, with Grey, White, and Orange wires. The White and Orange are normally used for the courtesy lights while the Grey is normally used for instrument lights.
I may be wrong on the above assumption, but I can't think of a circuit or application that would use both the courtesy and instrument lights ?
it would be nice if the harness suppliers included a schematic, written instructions, or WOW maybe label the connector ?
TIA
Tim

Any chance it might be the plug for the console, grey for the indicator light in the shifter and orange and white the courtesy light at the back of the console?
Quite possible, Did 70's have courtesy lights in the console ? If so, the car is a non console 4 spd car so that would explain why I can't find a home for it ;) Hopefully someone will confirm. Thank you very much 🍺

Yes, 1970-72 consoles had a courtesy light at the very rear of the console to light up the back seat area. The pink and green wire plug is for the back up light switch mounted on the steering column. (which bundle of wires does the pink and green wires come out of as I am trying to locate mine without tearing the whole dash apart?)

AE - Console Harness Connector. This will be short off the harness because there is a consol extension harness that plugs into it.

It comes out of the part of the harness that also runs to the ignition switch and the turn signal ribbon connector on the column.
