That's cool. I guess I never really figured out how Camaros worked; if that's a '70 ad, and a '69 Camaro shown, was there ever a '70 Camaro or did they jump straight to '70.5?
The change to the new Camaro look for 1970 fell behind schedule. Since the Camaro was so popular they weren't about to cease production so they simply extended the '69 models into the 1970 model year until the new versions were ready to roll off the assembly line.

Yeah, I've seen factory ads with a '69 Camaro pictured with '1970' on the front license plate.
