1970 Chevelle sterring box conversion I need to know the total travel in degrees

I have been reading the past threads about steering ratios and I only have one question. The car is in storage so I can't look at it but I have a 70 chevelle witout power steering and a steering box from a 69 caprice. I spun it over and had just under 3 turns with a travel of 77 deg. I did read where a guy can remove the stops and I am not afraid to try anything and figured on doing that. How much travel in degrees does a 70 chevelle power steering box have?

A 1970 Chevelle power gear had 81 degrees of pitman shaft travel (sweep). I don't know that it is worth tearing the gear apart just for 2 degrees per side. If you still want to rip into your power gear, you can gain 2 degrees by just changing the aluminum end cover for a cover from a full travel gear.
