Thanks……I kinda figured that. The glove “box” part of the the dash assembly must come off as it was removed for an installation of a a stereo receiver.

It is part of the dash as previously mentioned. It is NOT a separate piece. Unfortunately you will need either a new dash carrier or try to graft one in from a parts dash.
