What are those seats and that console out of? By "clone" this guy means he stuck some badges on it, the hardest part of an easy clone job is the dash. Fresh paint = bought to resell, rust, pulled a vinyl top and found garbage, etc, etc. Car looks like a hack job. $15k for this, no. If a convertible, maybe. No matter what engine is in it I wouldn't put much faith in 40 year old suspension, but maybe that's just me. Pass on this one unless he cuts you a deal. Then again, everything I just wrote could be wrong.

It definately has the look and feel of a flip. While not necessarily a bad thing, this car looks like it is a swapmeet special. There is no continuity, fresh red paint and whatever parts were found on the cheap does will not likely make for a happy buyer.

If it's close, I wouldn't right it off that easy. Vegas is bound to have lots of people taking cars in as partial loans, etc ... that have know idea if Chevy or Chrysler made a Chevelle.

From the pictures, I didn't see anything out of sight for a running BBC 70. Definitely bring a "car" friend with you, that knows what their looking at. Otherwise, might be a decent cruiser?

I was going to say good deal, but after reading what some of the other posters said I wouldn't do a dime over 10K. The Vegas flipping thing caught my attention and this is probably exactly what this is. It looks pretty nice, but in order to be done correctly, this car would probably need to be completely disassembled.

GO look at it. I spent the last 2 years looking constantly for a good 70-72 and I'd have gone and looked at that one FOR SURE when I was looking, after some of the CRAP I came across.
If it's got a good body and that paint is as good in person as it looks from 15' in pictures then I'd buy it with a running 454, for sure (or at least make a cash offer of 10-12k).
Everyone likes to bash what's not theirs. It's real easy to be a critic , but try going around looking at what that magic "$10 grand" gets you most of the time... Not that much.
