I would steer clear of that deal. Something stinks.

That is a 1970 Malibu that someone has put a 1971 front end on...why??!! You can still see the [email protected] cover up of the 1970 lower front side marker lights. That thing is a mutt.

It's a 1970 body with '71 front and rears.

The upper aluminum molding on top edge of doors and fenders was exclusive to the 1970 Malibu line. No one would just add those.

You can see how the front fenders were modified--lower marker (1970) covered up (poorly). You can see the black primer towards the front of the fenders is covering the modifications to accept the new marker light and fender extension hardware.

The trunk lid holes on the passenger side are consistent with the 1970 Chevelle emblem (which is missing ).

Why on earth someone would take a '70 and turn the front and rear to a '71 is beyond me. Most people do the opposite and make '70s out of '71s and '72s due to the popularity of 70s and the quad headlights. The fact they used SS parts on a 4 door post car is an absolute joke.

If you like "mutts", hodge-podge slap together cars go for it.

Look under the hood, if it has something really special, low ball 'em and buy it just as a parts car.

Hey, it's always good to ask before than after spending $. This site is a wealth of knowledge so feel free to ask away.

Don't get too discouraged, there are still reasonable projects out there. :beers:

That is probably a $12-1500 car if its a good runner driver..... A 4th gen V6 Camaro is worth about the same IMO.....unless its a super clean low mile car... It all boils down to what you wanna drive and what kind of worn out old car BS you're willing to deal with...
