Does anyone have a good idea of maybe where to find the build sheet for a canadian built ss, I have looked under gas tank, carpets and rear seat. Any help would be great. I have original bill of sale for 4163.00 and the protect-o- plate, and also found several small pieces of tagging papers for seats marked collins&aikman. Thanks JOHN

I don't think Canadian Chevelles had build sheets as we know them for U.S. Chevelles. This is what you're looking for...

Since your car was built in Canada, you can call GM of Canada at (800) 263-3777. There is a fee for this service but they'll send you, what I refer to as a 'confirmation sheet' showing when/where the car was built along with all the options it came with. Latest information I have of the cost is $58.85 CDN; for U.S dollars, whatever the current exchange rate is the last I heard.

Edit: I think all you need is the VIN of the car and a way to make payment.

Yep, no built sheets on Canadian built Chevelles. Line tags are 2 1/2" X 8 1/2 ". I have three of them, found two on the corner of the rear bottom seat and one behind the passenger seat. Check the Sept 2002 feature car and you will see a beautiful Canadian built original owner Chevelle. Unfortunately he has not found any line tags. Just like Dale said, call George S. in GM Canada to get you documentation. You will need the vin number and some dinero. Look on your cowl tag and you will find the RPO Z15 396/350 or Z15 454/360. We are very luck to be able to authenticate our cars. On the line tag you will find the body production number and if you are lucky enough the same number will show on the bottom and top of the original window sticker.
