Does anyone know what shift knob would have came factory in 70? I have a 70 Malibu sport coupe with 350, 4 speed Muncie. Black buckets/console car. I’m trying to slowly turn the car back to original. Does anyone remember what they used or were there different knobs. I’ll attach a pic of what I’m using now.

Yes, it was chrome knob with no shift pattern for console cars. Non console cars had a two piece knob...Black knob with shift pattern with chrome base.

Thanks everyone I had a feeling it was the chrome ball. Back in the day I had the Muncie Lever with the T handle I swear my t handle said Muncie on it, not Hurst, but that was over 20 years ago I don’t remember, and I don’t see any Muncie handles online
