[1969sleeper]

Hey gang,

Can somebody with a 1969 Chevelle look under their hood and tell me how many wheather seals they have in the hood-to-cowl area. I could have sworn that there was only one that was held to the cowl with a series of platics clips. However, my assembly manual shows that there is one that attaches to the underside of the hood as well.

I only have the cowl seal on mine but notice there are holes all the way across on the underside of the hood. So maybe there is supposed to be one on the hood. Anyone else?

Mine too. The weather strip kit I bought only included the one for the cowl, but my hood has the old one still on it.

Mine has 2:
An L-shaped strip held on with olive green clips on the hood

And

A weather strip similiar in shape to the trunk weatherstrip glued onto the cowl.

Gee, I was just cleaning mine up yesterday. Mine has the two as well, one on the hood and one on the cowl.
