Not a real fan of the 68-69 body style but I would make an exception for an original L88! Way too rich for my blood fwiw.

Picture #5 out of 687 shows the absolute best cowl hood scoop ever !!! That L88 hood scoop goes so good with a 68-69 Chevelle or a 70-73 RS Camaro IMO I think it might have been a big seller if offered by Chevrolet back then.The L88 hood scoops were offered in both fiberglass hoods and separate scoops for grafting onto steel hoods.Both were popular sellers AFAIK.
