On the one hand, that was once a super neat car, and could be awesome once again. On the other hand, even if you got it for FREE there's no way it would ever make financial sense. I'd say it's worth whatever saleable parts are on it - the transmission, probably a 12-bolt, and maybe some interior & exterior trim.

Manual steering, manual drum brakes, and it says intact #'s matching drivetrain. It would be an L48, or possibly an LM1, with a Muncie & 12-bolt. 1969 was the last year for drums on a Chevelle wagon EXCEPT for the basic Nomad through '72.
