I know it isn't a chevelle-my buddy who owns a car dealership(mainly newer vans-small cars-trucks etc) just phoned me -lately he has been getting old cars traded in-he just got a Documented 1969 442 Cutlass auto-rebuilt engine-in and wants to deal it fast-I haven't seen it but $10K takes it -seems like a deal to me-told him I will take a couple of ss chevelles for that price if he gets them-I am going to see it on friday up on the hoist-keep on cruising-Dave.

a good friend of mine bought a 64 442 the other day for $9,500! he couldn't find the build sheet so he was going to ask $15,000 for it. it is a 442 and a 4 speed, bucket seats, console.... anyways he found the original owner and sure enough he had all the paperwork for the car! It was the real deal! he turned around and sold it for $28,500 to some Oldsmobile collector in San Fransisco! I had never imagined! I told my friend about the car... I sure wish I knew what it was worth before telling him about it! just my luck.....

2 weeks ago a friend of mine bought a #3 condition, mostly original 69 442 with automatic, nice black bucket seat console interior. He paid $4,200.
