I have a 1969 396 engine block casting # 3955272
it is a 2 bolt 325 HP block I am told from a SS Chevelle

nice shape always stored oiled and inside since taken apart

It has not been decked and has vin (I believe) code easily readable on deck 19J247071

Bore is factory at 4.094

Casting date is there but unreadable

Whats it worth?

Just a bare block? No crank/rods/heads? Probably about $150-$200, if even that... Just a basic, very common 396, not as desirable for power (today, even 454 is small), no mystique like a real 427, not a 4-bolt main so not an L78.
