i was going thru some boxes tonite that came along with the project '68 corvette i bought. here are some items i'm not positive about. first i am assuming the two knobs are radio knobs but they really dont look like radio knobs they look more like a latch. is that possible? the two handles must be door pulls but i thought the 68 had door pulls that were integrel to the door trim panel. and the other little trim item i have no clue what it is. i'm betting there are some mavin's on here that can fill me in on these for sure. thanks in advance.

They are door pull handles and door lock nobs. I don't know what the other flat piece is.

I'm with Bill on those. The flat piece looks like some sort of "access panel". Are there any matching "holes" under the dash, or in the console? Can't say I've seen anything like that. Is it possible it's not actually for the Vette?

The flat piece fills the end of the slot on the emergency brake lever console. If you'll notice it has a small piece of chrome on it that matches to the trim that surrounds the plastic slide.

1st of all thanks to all for the info. 2nd the first pic below is as brought home this fall and the other pic is more recent with some of the dead paint stripped off (by razor blade) the bottom pic is the orginal engine with non original valve covers and air filter; i bought the car because of its unusually clean frame and matching numbers [although i will be installing the kamikazee 468 for at least a while]. so far i have replaced the windshield, cleaning and repainting the windshield frame in the process, removed a few bushels of debris and spare parts from the inside, purchased a good sized inventory of new parts and am now working on restoring the dash beginning with the steering column.....and 3rd a mavin is an expert but not just a run of the mill expert, rather one of significant merit and recognized respect.....just like most of the members on here, excluding myself. i will check out that '69 as soon as i post this. thanks again to all.
