Does anyone know the specs of a rear seat for 1968 convertible chevelle?I bought the car without one. I heard they are different from a coupe.

Depends. I have a 68 SS coupe and the back seat is about 4" narrower than some of the other coupes due to full height arm rests - perhaps similar to a vert. I don't know if they are original but some of the other members report having the narrow seat on their coupes and some not.

Convertible rear seat is all by itself period !!!! I have several if you need one we are about an hour from you. Jim

The rear seats are different for 68-69 Coupes, 70-72 Coupes, and 68-72 Convertibles.
