Does anyone have any handy photos of a '68 convertible quarter glass power window mechanism that they could post to help me identify what they look like? I'm told they are different than those used in the 2-door hardtops. Thanks in advance!

There are a couple pics of some from a 71 here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157627605275791/ I think they are actually the same except as far as regulators go, the glass is what's different.

Some more info here - http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/PW.htm

Attached are a picture of my regulators. They are out of a '68 tempest hardtop. They look a little different than the '71 photos that you posted. I have not gotten to the car to take a look at the body again as it is in the next county. The info about drilling additional holes at the quarters seems promising that these fit my convertible. Along with the statements that hardtop & convertibles are the same, then they must. I have installed a few sets over the years but only in hardtops and have never had to drill new holes for the regulators. Thanks.
