I am trying to install new rubbers in my vent window and the first one is not going so well. I will attach some pics that show the top of the rubber is about an 1 inch from being long enough. The stud also does not line up with the hole and the bottom channel was about the 2 inches too long. What in the world am I doing wrong?

It's been a long time since I last did these, but my first question is this; are you sure you have the right parts? Could you have possibly received replacements for an El Camino or an incorrect year?

I am starting to wonder Pete. Its almost like the rubbers are for something shorter in height in relation to the peak of the triangulated part of the window and longer in relation to the width at the bottom!
