I need upholstery for my 1967 Chevelle 2 door post. I know the front is the same as a coupe, the rear back is the same as a 4 door sedan but I don’t know about the rear seat part. By any chance is the rear seat part the same as a coupe?

Is there any company that makes a full set for a 66-67 2 door sedan?

What color?
I've got a full set of bright blue PUI covers for a '67 4dr Sedan. You would be welcome to try the rears for fit.
But I'm thinking the rear seats should be the same as a 2dr coupe. Call James Hinshaw...he'd know for sure.

Rear seat is not them same from a 4-door. You need a 2-door seat and cover.

I know of no company that makes 2-door sedan rear sets. For some reason they make the 4-doors but not the 2-doors for the rear. You can buy the material from SMS or Cars Inc. and have an interior shop redo it. Or you can use a complete kit for a Malibu.

Also, better watch. Are you sure the front is the same? Does the 4-door tilt like a 2-door. 2-doors are split and each 1/2 tilts forward so you can get into the back seat. What about the 4-door? I seem to remember 4-doors having a different front seat.

To clarify all the above, 64-67 Chevelle 2-door post seats are the same frames, same shape, and same dimensions as a 64-67 Chevelle 2-door hardtop seats. The front bench is split and the backs fold up on all 2-doors (so people can get in the back seat). 4-door front benches have a fixed one-pc back rest.

300's (and maybe also 300-deluxes) have less padding under the seat covers than Malibus and SS's, but the frames are the same.

As to the seat covers with the correct material and pattern for a 300 or 300-deluxe, SMS in Oregon does have the material. And I was told that they will make the covers too (if you are willing to wait awhile and pay a healthy amount). Otherwise, if you have the original covers that a local shop can use as a pattern, then just buy the material from SMS and have them stitched up locally.

Good luck!

I got my medium fawn original seat cover material from SMS Auto Fabrics. They were the ONLY place I found that had the correct seat cloth for a 1966 Chevelle 300. Not for the Malibu, or the 300 Deluxe, just plain ole grannymobile 300 series. Those folks also have headliner and door panel materials, or they can make the headliner and door panels for you.I had the make the headliner, but am having a local shop stich up the seat covers from the material I bought.
