Hi everyone, I went to buy some parts from some guy. The parts are for my wifes chevelle. In the barn is a 66 138 vin#body and rolling frame. I am told that it has been there for 26 years. The car is all a part and in old lacquer primer. No dents , rot,or missing studs for the windsheild clips! It dose have messed up holes in the package tray for speakers and the shifter hole is a mess. With this all said, what you pay for the car,frame,muncie 4spd,chrome,dash and boxes of misc parts?

Your in the north east so you know rust free is hard to find so that would bring up the value.Tough to say what its worth and realy that doesnt matter just how cheep you can get it is what matters and you fell good paying it.You should already have a feel for the guy having already met him and done business with him so the question would be does he expect top dollar.The trans alone is worth 4-5 hundred or more if it needs a rebuild and if it has a 12 bolt thats worth bucks also so start doing the math but I would just start by getting him to come up with a price because everybody has a price.If he cant give you one then start low like a grand and see what happens.
