Well it took three and a half years but she is ready for spring. I started in Dec 2010. All that is left is interior trim. But I will be driving it this spring. Pictures documenting the rebuild are in my profile albums. Man this was fun. 64 years old and I think I am ready to start again. Maybe the 90 IROC.

looks good.
White is a rarely seen color on a 66.
Nice when the finish line is in sight.
Now to get some seat time to make all the hard work worth while.
:beers:

Very Nice! I'm not a 66 expert but shouldn't the rear panel, under the trunk lid (SS 396), be painted semi-gloss black?

Very debatable subject. for the most part the answer is no black. :noway:

My car was restored correctly with no black between the tail lights.
I did however paint it black later, just because I like it.

Do a search, you will find lots of info and debate about the blacked out 66 tail panel.

I don't believe this one had a blacked out tail panel. Only early versions did that. Mine was built in Atlanta in June of 66 so I doubt it was originally blacked out.
