I'm looking to install adjustable rear upper control arms in my '66 that has a '68 12 bolt in it. When I look to purchase a set most fit '67-72. Will these fit my rear end configuration? I searched the forums and didn't see anything on this subject. Thanks

No, you will need control arms for a 64-67 GM A-body. The uppers are longer on 64-67 versus 68-72 cars. Most places selling parts for 68-72 also offer arms for early A bodies.

64-67 A-Bodys use a 12 15/16" upper

68-72 use 10 1/4" uppers

The length is determined by the year of the chassis because of the mounting point location. If you have a 64-67 regardless of what GM rear you have in the car you will use that year specific upper control arm.

The lowers are 22" for all years and the bushing width doesn't change for any year.
