Hi Guys this may sound stupid BUT I cannot for the life of me without breaking it disconnect the original two conductor wire from the wiper motor harness under the dash going to the extension harness to the wiper switch ? View attachment 724864

It may have a catchthat holds it secure, use a small flathead screwdriver to raise and release.if it doesn't, disconnect the battery ground cable and slip the little flathead in and seperate it.sometimes corrosion makes it stick. Hope this helps.

Have an extra harness. It does not have a catch at that connection. Just carefully muscle it apart. Tried that on my extra harness, it was difficult to get loose. Wiggling the male connector helped.
