can anyone tell me if the chevelle emblem on a 1966 malibu deck lid is the same as the chevelle emblem on the rear panel of a 1966 cevelle s.s. ?? thanks paul

No the one on the rear panel is a lot longer and several afermarket vendors have them available for 100.00 I did not use one as I dont care for them. I use the one in the corner of cove only

The _C_H_E_V_E_L_L_E_ nameplate emblem in the center of the rear cove was the same on the 300, 300 Deluxe and SS396 (#4229439). The Malibu used a different _C_H_E_V_E_L_L_E_ nameplate emblem (#4227111) on the trunk lid and Chevrolet emblem (#4227109) in the center of the cove.

And the one on the tailgate of a '66 wagon is different yet!

And both wagon series, 300 Deluxe and Malibu, are different from each other.
