I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow to checkout a 65 station wagon. It has roof luggage rack, a metal piece over the tail gate that seems like a spoiler (kind of) and look to be original, and the grill looks pretty good. Are these parts in demand?
The owner has a friend who is going to use the front clip for a two doors wagon. I was going to buy the entire back tailgate with manual regulator, but don't know how much to offer him.
$500 for the entire wagon, with front clip? Sounds pretty good if it usable/restorable (decent body and parts). If just parting it out, probably still a decent price, but more questionable. You'll probably get your money back, but how much extra for your time?
