This is why you NEVER disrepect a small block. W engines, Mark IV, and LS engines owe Ed Cole a debt of gratitude for being the trail blazer that ford and Chrysler had to catch up just to follow. Very good watch.

There is a video out there somewhere of Zora Argus Duntov beating a 57 FI Vette solid lifter at the GM proving grounds in 1956 that will bring a tear to your eyes. I cant find it anywhere.

Excellent!!! Worth every bit of the 47 minutes. That era seems to have been a time when people were more excited about life and excited about being an American. It brought back many memories of my dad. Thanks for posting it

Great viewing, but maybe a bit simplistic...

Great video.
Nadar was about self promotion, so I agree there, the Corvair wasn't a bad car. Cars were bad. Seat and shoulder belts are probably the biggest part of safety.

What bad did Bill Gates do? He created a company, sold a product he didn't yet have to someone and made a few billion. His company then improved that product, and worked to gain market share. They didn't see the internet coming, and f'ed up.

Look into the stats about head on crashes over time. I'll bet they're increasing due to phone use.

Apple and Google are now the great satans of world business.

So where is the decline of US business?
