Been looking for a pump to change the oil in our Larson inboard.
Anyone have some good advise on a system that works.

What type of motor do you have? Most Mercruiser engines have a thread-on fitting on the top of the dipstick tube where you attach a special hand operated oil pump to pump out your oil.
This is what I use on my boat and it works great.

That's the same set up I have. My father has a mechanic on the lake that winterizes his boat and has a 12 volt set up.
Sounds like what you use works good. I don't want to buy somthing that doesn't work

I've never had good results using the Jabsco hand pump,, although the one I "had" drained oil from a tube you slide into the dipstick tube.
The oil was either too cold and thick to pump or too hot to hang onto the metal pump,, and leaked like a sieve!
Usually made one hell of a mess! What is the secret?
