Any one know anywhere that I can send my 12 bolt to get new axle tubes put into the pumpkin. I see some seperation in the seamed tubing on the inside of the axle tube and lots of deterioration metal wise. Not going to be able to trust the unit like it is. Also I already have all the goodies for a rebuild(internals) so basically just a place to put in new tubes and make it like new. Hopefully there mey be somewhere close to KY so I can either drop it off or keep shiping to a minimum. THX

I rebuild plenty of 12 bolt rears. Replacing the tubes is no small task. They were pressed in from the factory and then plug welded in 3 places each side. Pulling the tubes will be near impossible for most any shop. I do not do it either. Narrowing, replacing brackets, straightening, welding tubes are all doable tasks.

Might be better to look for a different housing. Tom

My friend brought his housing to Jamie Frankland for repair. He does awesome work.

Freddie is an authorized Moser rep, and a fine fellow.

If you want to just purchase a new Moser 12 Bolt x2 for Freddie. The Moser Housings are stronger than Stock. If you are building a correct car, have your housing repaired or find another housing. If you don't care about originality, just buy a new Moser 12 Bolt from Freddie and call it done.
