What's the current market price on a 70 Chevelle SS distributor # 1111963? Anyone bought or sold one recently that can give me a ballpark value? I have a wanted ad in the classifieds and a member responded with a price but I'm don't have anything to compare to price wise. Nothing on Ebay for the last couple of months so no help there. I sold one about a year ago to someone on here for $150.

I think it will depend on the date you need sometimes. There are quite a few early 963's that were destined for the first LS5 Monte Carlos.
LS5 Chevelles weren's built until early December `69, so get a date that is November or later.
I think $150 is a super price for one, as I wouldn't expect to find one for less than $300.

where are the numbers on them? My father has several old points distributors in the barn that have been there for years. The fact that he had a 1970 ls5 454 (dated L 17 9 )sitting in the corner of our garage my whole life until he gave it to me a few years ago makes the odds pretty good that one of them is the correct one.

Yes, My car is a LS-5. I guess the seller isn't out of line as long as the stamping passes the test. I'll request some pictures and see how things go. Thanks to all. Troy
