Fill plug should be on the side.
Put lube in until it runs out, then put
plug back.

I could be wrong but my recollection of 10 bolts from other vehicles was that the fill was locate near the top on the passenger side toward the front. I always used to fill up to about an inch below the plug (til you can touch it by sticking your pinky in there). If you've got fat fingers don't try this method

The service manual states that to fill a dry axle, it will take 4.25 pints while a drain-and-refill job will require 3.75 pints.
