It is with great regret that we report to you that longtime Team Chevelle member Skip Cain passed away January 6th, 1999 after a fight with cancer.
Skip was laid to rest Saturday January the 9th, 1999.
Skip got involved with Team Chevelle back when it was still called Chevelle Cruising in 1996, and as you can probably tell, it's come a long way. Skip's involvement was responsible for a lot of the success, and it was obvious to all who ever visited this site. From his first class '67 Chevelle that was a feature car both here and in national magazines, to his Resto Shop Articles and ident guides, Skip did a great deal for the advancement of our hobby. Skip also contributed hundreds of answers to tech problems and spent a great deal of time helping others to learn and enjoy.
I feel truly honored to have met and shared a friendship with Skip, whom I have never met in person, but whose passing has touched me deeply.
Thanks from all of us Skip.
