History
Made at GM Oshawa April 1st, 1968. Began life as a Malibu and was sold in Brantford, Ontario and moved in and around the Cambridge, Kitchener area until it moved to Mt. Forest in 1997. I bought it off that 21 year owner on July 3rd, 2018. So she continues to rumble in Mt. Forest!
Engine replaced in the 90’s with a 454.

Drivetrain
454 with a TH400 3 speed automatic transmission. . THE ENGINE HAS 3 DIFFERENT COMPONENTS FROM THREE DIFFERENT TIME PERIODS:
1. Aug 5th, 1965 intake manifold used on 66 396 Chevelle’s or 427 Corvette’s. #3866948
2. An Oct 6th, 1971 head for a 402 or 454. #6272292.
3. A May 2nd, 1979 engine block built for a Chev truck. #361959
4. Finally an engine pad #C93821818, C93 decoded to Chevrolet truck division, 1979, Detroit truck and body and the balance of the number being the vin#.
Interior
Originally had 795 red vinyl bench, was updated at some point to 796 red bucket seats. Only 757 of 220,000 Chevelle’s produced in 1968 had red interior and bench seat.
Carpet replaced Dec. 2018.
Wheel and Tire
Ralleye wheels stamped K19165AZ decoded are Corvette 15x8 wheels
K19265AZ. Means they were made by Kelsey Jan of 1969. Tires are DOT code from 2007 Indy 500 Firehawks. Fronts are 235/60’s and rears are 255/70’s.
