History
Barn Find with build sheet (L34, 4-speed, 75/75) non-matching numbers engine or tranny...sat from approximately 1989 to 2011, when I bought it. Mostly original paint and original interior. Pieced it back together, rebuilt suspension, brakes and drive train. Only engine work was rebuilt Q-jet, rebuilt HEI, ignition wires, replaced headers and exhaust.
It's been back on the road since 2015, we've logged several thousand miles since and love it!

Modifications

Drivetrain
396 with mild cam (no specs-installed in the 80's by PO), Q-jet and Q-jet Performer, HEI and Headman Headers.

Surprising to me- this combination with a ST10, 12 bolt w/355 posi and 28" rear tire recently yielded 15.72 MPG on a 150 mile round trip. This was a combination of county roads and hi-way driving (one burnout while leaving the graduation party). I'd guess my average RPM was 2600ish.
Interior
Stock black bucket seat, gauge cluster dash and console with 4 speed.
Exterior
Battle scar faded, dented and chipped paint SS 396
Audio
none functioning original am radio
Suspension
UMI tubular upper A-arms with tall BJ, front springs and rear frame braces. Rebuild stock lower A-arms.
Ridetech adjustable shocks.
Hotchkiss sway bars, tie rod connectors and rear control arms with adjustable uppers.
Grand Cherokee steering box.
New centerlink, tie rods and pitman.
Handles awesome!
Wheel and Tire
Torque Thrust with BFG's
Front 15 x 8 - 245/60
Rear 15 x 10 - 275/60
